Kampanya batok sa loose firearms, gin pabaskog sang Philippine National Police

ILOILO CITY – kapin sa 172 ka loose firearms kag 20 ka granada ang natigayon nga makuha sang Iloilo Provincial Police Office (IPPO) sa gin lunsar nga “Oplan Sigabong” (Ilonggo Cop’s Campaign Against Loose Fire Arms) nga nag sugod sang tinalikdan nga November 16, 2022.

Suno kay IPPO Officer-in-Charge Colonel Noel C. Aliño nga kapin ₱10,000 ang naga hulat nga cash reward sa sino man nga maka hatag sang positibo nga impormasyon kag maka tudlo sa indi lesensyado nga naga himo o manufacturer kag naga baligya sang mga loose firearms (ex. homemade 12 gauge shotgun).Suno kay Aliño all information or tip shall be treated with utmost confidentiality.

Ang Comprehensive Firearms & Ammunition Regulation Law o ang RA 10591 naga define sang Loose firearm to an unregistered firearm, an obliterated or altered firearm, firearm which has been lost or stolen, illegally manufactured firearms, registered firearms in the possession of an individual other than the licensee and those with revoked licenses in accordance with the rules and regulations. The said law provides for a penalty of not less than six (6) years of imprisonment.
