LA CARLOTA CITY, April 23, 2024 – The 42nd Pasalamat Festival Invitational Tournament reached its exhilarating climax, painting the gymnasium of La Carlota City with vibrant hues of table tennis excellence from April 19-21, 2024. With paddles poised and hearts racing, players across various categories etched their names into the annals of table tennis history with displays of skill, strategy, and sheer determination.

In the fiercely contested 45 UP Executive category, it was the formidable squad from Mangkas Spinners – A who emerged victorious, leaving a trail of awe in their wake. Francis Jalando-on, Arnie Uy, Pastor Richard Ginete, and Garry Trasporto orchestrated a symphony of precision and experience, clinching the championship title with a masterclass in strategic play and lightning-fast reflexes.

In a riveting display of teamwork and precision, the Mangkas – Bicycle squad emerged as the undisputed champions of the Open Team Event. Led by the dynamic trio of Mark Jimenez, Nonoy Gubaton, and Nicky Puentevella, they showcased unparalleled synergy and strategic prowess, leaving their opponents in awe.

Jose Ainar Apdol, Pastor Dorim Greg Dumdum, April May Benitez, and Jowen John Aurelio, a quartet steeped in years of honing their craft, showcased a symphony of synchronized movements and tactical genius that left spectators in awe. The 14U Girls and 14U Boys categories witnessed epic battles as Kristine Ong of Cadiz Sweet Caroline and Daryl John Gorecho of Mangkas Spinners showcased their exceptional skills and competitive spirit. At the grassroots level, the 12U Girls and 12U Boys events provided a platform for young prodigies to shine.
