Negros Boys Table Tennis Team Wins WVRAA 2023 Championship

ILOILO CITY – The Negros Boys Table Tennis Team, who demonstrated their dominance at the table, won the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) 2023 championship. The best athletes in the area competed in the tournament, but the Negros Boys Team stood out for their outstanding gameplay and technique.

One of the team’s best players, Dirk Atilano, established himself by winning the Gold Medal in the Singles competition. Atilano dominated the table as his quick footwork, cunning serves, and powerful shots mesmerized his rivals.

In the Doubles competition, Atilano and his partner Raul Mallen won the Silver Medal. Their expertise of the doubles game was demonstrated by their quick reflexes, coordinated movements, and well-placed shots.

Another doubles team from the Negros Boys Table Tennis Team, the Marcella Brothers, displayed their talent by winning the Bronze Medal in the Doubles competition. They were a force to be reckoned with at the table thanks to their furious but measured attitude, quick reflexes, and potent smashes.

The Negros Boys Table Tennis Team won the WVRAA 2023 competition as a result of their diligent practice, superb teamwork, and unwavering dedication to the game. Their success serves as a motivational lesson for all aspiring table tennis players about the value of perseverance, hard effort, and dedication.
