Fatal Electrocution in Passi City: Three Victims Injured, One Dead
ILOILO CITY – A tragic incident that occurred on March 11, 2023, in Brgy. Buenavista, Passi City, Iloilo. Three individuals were electrocuted while repairing a steel pipe post of a wi-fi net.
The victims were identified as Jessie Calibar y Paniza, Mark Ruben Gumban y Alarilla, and Henry Deatras y Alianza.
According to reports, the steel pipe post accidentally fell down and hit the main line of Ilico II, resulting in the electrocution of the victims.
The victims were immediately rushed to Passi City Hospital, but unfortunately, Jessie Calibar was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician, while the two other victims were given medical treatment for their injuries.
