“Madam Ester” and “JR” Busted: High-Value Individual and Accomplice Caught in Million-Peso Drug Operation
ILOILO CITY – Regional Priority Target and High-Value Individual Estrelita Bueno, also known as “Madam Ester,” 68 years old from Novaliches Quezon City, along with Noel Llagas, also known as “JR,” 27 years old and a resident of Ungka, Jaro, were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation. The operation took place at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 27, 2023, in Zone 6, Barangay Ungka, Jaro.
Llagas was caught selling suspected shabu, a plastic bag containing the drug, for 72 thousand pesos of buy-bust money. Police also recovered one knot tied package from Llagas and five knot tied packages of suspected shabu from Bueno.
The illegal drugs weighed 1.2 kilograms and were worth 8,160,000 pesos.
The arrested individuals are now in custody at Jaro PNP and will face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022, also known as Republic Act 9165.
