Blunt-Wielding Robbers Take Over 600K Pesos from J&T Express in Iloilo City Hold-Up
ILOILO CITY – Suspects robbed J&T Express in Mac Arthur Drive, Barangay Quintin Salas, Jaro, Iloilo City, taking away over 600,000 pesos on March 1, 2023.
Police Master Sergeant Romarico Baron reported that the suspects, armed with unidentified blunt weapons, entered the office where Jade Ann Blanco, a finance admin, and Blandino Paner, a company sprinter, were conducting an inventory.
The suspects threatened the employees with violence and took the money and personal belongings worth over 600,000 pesos, including two android phones, ATM cards, identifications cards, and 4,000 pesos.
Two out of the three suspects have been identified through the rogues’ gallery.
The Iloilo City Police Office is currently conducting a hot pursuit operation to capture them and recover the stolen items, according to Public Information Officer Police Major Shella Mae Sangrines.
