PS3 SDET and CDEU in Iloilo City Seize 56g Shabu Worth Php 380,800 and Arrest HVI in Buy-Bust Operation
ILOILO CITY – The joint forces of the PS3 SDET and CDEU have successfully carried out a buy-bust operation resulting in the arrest of a high-value individual and the confiscation of 56 grams of shabu worth Php 380,800. The operation was conducted at 5:20 PM on April 21, 2023, in Brgy. Buhang, Jaro, Iloilo City.
The arrested individual was identified as Dennis Orbe y Sultan, a 52-year-old resident of Brgy. Bakhaw, Mandurriao Iloilo City. Orbe was caught in the act of selling one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu to a police poseur-buyer for Php 15,000.00.
Upon conducting the operation, authorities were able to seize Php 15,000.00 in buy-bust money, one piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (buy-bust item), eleven pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (possession), Php 380.00 proceeds money, and several non-drug items.
The illegal drugs confiscated had a weight of 56 grams with a standard drug price worth Php 380,800.
Orbe was informed of his offense and apprised of his constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine in dialect known to him. He is presently under the custody of PS3 custodial facility for proper disposition.
